NOCCI was honored to assist the United States Navy and New Orleans & Company with the execution of Sail250 New Orleans. Our team produced and managed a series of signature events throughout the celebration, beginning with the Port Welcome Reception and continuing through the Governor’s Ball, the Seafood Cook-Off, the Mayoral Reception, and the Blessing of the Fleet. These events showcased the rich culture, hospitality, and maritime heritage of New Orleans while welcoming visiting naval personnel, dignitaries, and guests from around the world. We are proud to have played a role in delivering a memorable and successful Sail250 experience for our city and nation.

Scope of Services

NOCCI will provided comprehensive event management, logistics coordination, and operational support for Sail250 New Orleans, including:


  • Serve as the primary coordination partner between New Orleans & Company, the U.S. Navy, ESG2, Fleet Forces, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage all planning, scheduling, transportation logistics, ship tours, and overall event operations.
  • Oversee production and execution of key Sail250 events, including the Tall Ships arrival/departure, Mayor’s Welcome Reception, Governor’s Gala, Seafood Cook-Off, Port Welcome Reception, USO Community Relations events, and the four-day public dockside activation.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage volunteers for events and ship tours.
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, security, permitting, ADA compliance, and site logistics.
  • Support sponsorship development, in-kind partnerships, and sponsor fulfillment.
  • Provide onsite project management, staffing oversight, and operational leadership throughout the event.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage event budgets, expense tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage post-event strike, venue restoration, vendor reconciliation, and final reporting.
