nocci assisted the NORD Commission in planning and executing all Local Host events and responsibilities during the National Recreation and Parks Association Conference (NRPA) in September 2017. This conference was monumental for the NORD Commission as they were awarded National Accreditation during the conference. The conference saw record-breaking numbers in attendance and Off-Site Institute registration. 

Off-Site Institutes

• nocci coordinated eleven different off-site institutes during the conference

Volunteer Management

• nocci recruited and managed over 200 volunteers to assist with the conference
• nocci hosted a volunteer training and created a very detailed Volunteer Handbook outlining conference and shift information

Swag/Transportation Management

• nocci received bids for swag/transportation and selected the most reasonably priced companies
• nocci worked to design and order conference swag for NORD Commission Staff, Special Guests, Off-Site Institute Participants, and Volunteers
• nocci was responsible for swag distribution
• nocci managed transportation for eleven different off-site institutes during the conference

Local Host Event Management

• nocci coordinated logistics, managed budgets, vendors, and staff for the following Local Host Events:
