In 2011, NOCCI was named the official event management company of the Bayou Classic -  the annual meeting of HBCU rivals Grambling State University and Southern University & A&M College.



Scope of Services

NOCCI was originally awarded the contract for the 2011 and 2012 Bayou Classic, the annual meeting of HBCU rivals Grambling State University and Southern University and A&M College. We are proud to say that we just completed our 12th Bayou Classic in November of 2023.


The Bayou Classic commemorates historically black colleges and universities, academic achievement, tradition, sportsmanship, marching bands, and friendly competition. The “Classic” is an exhibition of the high standards of academic achievement deeply embedded in the traditions of the two institutions.
