Paul Dauphin, Operations Director

DauphinPaul headshot.jpgPaul Dauphin, who has partnered with NOCCI since 2008, is president of Pierre Principle Communications, a public relations and media management firm. He has more than 25 years of experience in public relations, sports management and broadcast news. Dauphin earned a B.A. in Radio/Television Communications from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana-Lafayette) and a M.S. in Sports Management from Western Illinois University.

Dauphin served as associate director of communications for the Sun Belt Conference, an NCAA athletic conference. He was also news and sports director at WYLD-FM radio in New Orleans, extensively covering the Bayou Classic and SWAC football and basketball.

Dauphin is the former communications director of the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans where for nearly 10 years he was responsible for internal and external communications. Dauphin managed media relations, publication and advertising development, and community relations. He served as the agency's chief spokesman during high profile events and directed the port's media response following the Bright Field incident in December 1996.

Dauphin currently serves as a Commissioner on the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-West, one of two levee authorities serving metropolitan New Orleans. The public board provides flood protection for nearly all land on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Jefferson and Orleans parishes by building, operating and maintaining flood control systems.


Chuck Morse, Marketing and Promotions Director

morse.jpgChuck Morse has more than twenty years experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, working at every level throughout his career. Morse currently serves as CEO of CMorseCompany, Inc., a tourism and hospitality company offering services in strategic planning, legislative and community affairs, event planning and public relations. Current clients include Delaware North Companies, a national and international leader in hospitality management.

Prior to forming CMorseCompany in 2009, Morse served as Assistant Secretary of the Louisiana Office of Tourism in the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism from 2006 to 2008. In that role, he was responsible for the state's domestic and international marketing initiatives, including a $10 million annual advertising and public relations program, the state's visitor welcome center network, the Atchafalaya Trace Commission, the Louisiana Scenic Byways Program and 82 full-time and part-time employees statewide.

From 2004 to 2006, Morse served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. In that role, Morse managed rural tourism development, boards and commissions and the Louisiana Scenic Byways Program. Morse has served on the board of several professional tourism organizations, including Travel South, Travel Industry Association of America/National Council of State Tourism Directors and the Southeast Tourism Society.

Prior to his positions in the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Morse served as Special Assistant to the President at the Washington DC Convention and Tourism Corporation from 1998 to 2004. While there, he developed the strategy for and led the organization's governmental and community affairs efforts, and served as director of membership development. Morse also played an integral role in the Washington DC tourism industry's recovery efforts following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, working with industry stakeholders, federal and local government officials and community leaders.

Morse earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia State University and a Master of Science degree at the University of New Orleans.


Dottie Belletto, Sponsorship Development Director

belletto.jpgDottie Belletto, CEO of NOCCI, has 25 years in the event planning industry. Belletto's client list includes some of America's most prominent government and corporate leaders and well-known entertainers. Her creative vision and purpose is producing one-of-a-kind events tailored for specific clients and groups.

New Orleans magazine chose Belletto as the "Top Female Achiever" in Event Planning in 2004 and again in 2008. She's volunteered her time and efforts to numerous organizations dedicating resources to those that focus on the overall health and well-being of all members of the community, especially women and children. She regularly promotes, supports and encourages education, rehabilitation and training for those in less fortunate communities.

Belletto provides creative and strategic direction as well as staff training and development to the company. She guides the creation and production of all programs and at all events is a hands-on producer.


Monica Pierre, Media Director

PierreMonica headshot.jpgMonica Pierre, who has partnered with NOCCI since 2008, is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, broadcaster, and author. She is CEO of Pierre Principle Communications, a public relations and media management firm. She has more than 25 years of experience in radio and television news and has served as host of various public affairs shows.

Pierre earned a B.A. in Radio/Television Communications from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana-Lafayette). She also served as an adjunct professor at Dillard University in New Orleans, teaching broadcast news writing and reporting.

Pierre is a recipient of the Greater New Orleans Broadcasters Association's "Masters Award," which recognizes individuals who serve as role models through their contributions to the community and the broadcast industry.

Pierre is an experienced moderator and facilitator of corporate meetings, focus groups and public forums. Known for understanding the needs of working media while balancing outcomes for her public relations clients, Pierre served as communications director for the political campaigns of New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and Caroline Fayard, who ran for Lt. Governor in 2010.

Aaron is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Texas and the District of Columbia. He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex and high profile civil and commercial litigation, business law, state and local government law, professional liability, real estate, banking and insurance. Aaron has received numerous professional awards including the prestigious New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law Award. He is active in civic and professional activities and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. He is a member of the Jefferson Business Council and serves on the Board of Directors of a number of local non-profit organizations.

Aaron is active in the rebuilding of the New Orleans area and is an organizer and director of First NBC Bank, a rapidly growing financial institution, which commenced operations In May of 2006 less than a year after Hurricane Katrina.
